years of flower farming
After graduation I moved to Maine and worked on another flower farm, but eventually settled into life in Abingdon where Stormbrew Farm has flourished. We value fostering connection to farms through flowers & food, while supporting as many of our local growers and producers as possible. A farmer's touch makes the difference when sourcing stems or ingredients- and the client notices every time.
During my time studying Horticulture at Virginia Tech, I found myself working on a flower farm. With only vegetable growing experience, I was astounded to learn that there was a market, a movement really, for locally-grown flowers. At 19 years old, I was launched into the world of wedding & event florals.
