Benefits for Flower Farmers

Member Grower FAQs

How do I sell my flowers at the weekly markets?

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2026 season.

Applications for the 2027 growing year will open in October. Please check back at the end of the season if you're curious about working with us in the future. Preference is given to those with experience producing high quality flowers and foliage for professional florists and designers and those who use sustainable growing practices.

We are looking for a product offering that is desirable to a buyer's pool of event florists and retail florists, and are currently interested in adding more shoulder season availability and unique flowers and foliage.

Are there requirements for collective growers?

Yes. All of our member farms must be legally established and licensed businesses with insurance. We require a minimum of 2 years professional flower farming experience with thorough knowledge of the harvesting and conditioning needs for wholesale flowers. Preference is given to farmers with membership to the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers and those with established Rooted Farmers membership.

What costs are associated with being a collective member farm?

  • Annual Bristol Bloom Collective Membership fee ($150)
  • Rooted Farmers Account ($100 off with BBC discount code)
  • 20% of each transaction (This does include credit card processing & Rooted Farmer fees!)
