How does ordering from the collective work?
Our farms post their weekly availability on Rooted Farmers for you to shop from. Once the orders are in, the farms harvest, aggregate their flowers, pack orders, and then the collective gets them prepared for delivery & pickup. This allows you to shop across all of the local farms and pick up or have them delivered from one source!
What is Rooted Farmers?
Rooted Farmers is an online platform created by farmers that we use to handle our orders. We post weekly flower availability for you to shop and place your orders online. There is no cost for you to become a member and it's completely free to use!
Where can I pick up my orders from?
Pickup is available on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 - 12:30pm at the Bristol Bloom Collective market. It's located at 1509 West State Street, Bristol VA 24201. You'll know you're at the right place when you see the white brick building with the large, colorful flower mural on the side!
How do I submit an order for a future event?
The best way to place a future order is to fill out our Advanced Request Order Form at least two weeks in advance to request a pre-order with us. Completing the form does not guarantee fulfillment and is not an official order, but we will be in touch with you to confirm the details. You'll receive an official invoice through the Rooted Farmers platform the week before your fulfillment date.
What is the ordering schedule for the collective?
Our online storefront opens on Thursdays at 9am EST. You'll be able to place orders until Monday at 12:00pm for Wednesday morning pickups or afternoon deliveries.
What is your delivery radius and fee?
We deliver throughout the Tri-Cities area of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. This includes delivery to: Abingdon, Bristol, Elizabethton, Kingsport, Johnson City, and Jonesborough.
The delivery fee is dependent upon location, but generally ranges from $10 to $45 with an order minimum of $50+. You can view our delivery zone map here.
Local deliveries are typically in the 1pm to 5pm timeframe on Wednesdays. Large order deliveries for Boone, NC will be on Thursday mornings. If you do not see the fulfillment options you are looking for, please get in touch with us via hello@bristolbloomcollective.com.
We are always happy to find rendezvous points or alternative pickup locations. We want to work with you as best we can to get you the beautiful, locally grown blooms you want!
Can I make changes to an order I've already placed?
To add product to orders when the Bristol Bloom Collective online shop is open, simply submit another order through the store. Payments are not processed until the order is received, so we will merge them on our end and make sure you are only charged for delivery once.
It is not possible to edit an existing order on Rooted Farmers, but you can send us a message on the Rooted platform or via email if there is anything you need to change.
Please let us know ASAP if you need changes made to your order.
How can I communicate my preferences about my order?
Need those cosmos cut as long as possible? Want your ranunculus harvested while fully open? We appreciate any notes or special requests you'd like to add on your order and will do our best to accommodate them!

I'm a flower farmer. When can I apply for collective membership?
Yay! We're so glad you're here. We always love to see friendly flower farming faces and would be happy to get you on the grower list. Membership applications for the collective open in October and close in December for the upcoming year.
