Our mission is to make locally grown blooms more accessible to florists and designers by streamlining sourcing, increasing availability, and supporting small farms through collective selling.

Shop Locally Grown Flowers
If you're searching for your fresh flower fix in East Tennessee & Southwest Virginia, we've got you covered! You can shop the Bristol Bloom Collective storefront online via the Rooted Farmers platform and order the most beautiful locally grown blooms every week!
Our online flower shop opens Wednesdays and you'll be able to pick up (or get delivery!) the following Wednesday.

Showcase-Worthy, High Quality Flowers
Flowers bought locally can last up to two weeks! You can also readily find specialty varieties unavailable from import channels.
Our locally grown flowers are picked from the field within 24-36 hours of getting to you, and are handled with care by your local farmers and designers. Their imported counterparts, on the other hand, are shipped dehydrated in a cardboard box, arriving to you at the tail end of their bloom life.

Approximately 80% of flowers sold in the U.S. are imported from outside the country.
(Take a closer look at the label on the sleeve of flowers at the grocery store and you’ll often see ‘Grown in Columbia or Ecuador.’)
Studies have shown that the amount of carbon dioxide emitted from transporting flowers to the USA would take require planting forests worth of trees to help remediate. We'll be happy to share the research with you!

How does ordering from the collective work?
Our farms post their weekly availability on Rooted Farmers for you to shop from. Once the orders are in, the farms harvest, aggregate their flowers, pack orders, and then the collective gets them prepared for delivery & pickup. This allows you to shop across all of the local farms and pick up or have them delivered from one source!
What is Rooted Farmers?
Rooted Farmers is an online platform created by farmers that we use to handle our orders. We post weekly flower availability for you to shop and place your orders online. There is no cost for you to become a member and it's completely free to use!
Where can I pick up my orders from?
Pickup is available on Wednesday mornings from 8:00am - 12:30pm at the Bristol Bloom Collective market. It's located at 1509 West State Street, Bristol VA 24201. You'll know you're at the right place when you see the white brick building with the large, colorful flower mural on the side!
I'm not a florist. Can I still buy flowers from you?
Although we specialize in selling our wholesale style blooms to florists & floral designers, we definitely have hours for you too! To learn more about buying locally grown blooms from us as a retail customer, head to the Retail Information page here!
