Moonchild Blooms

Greeneville, Tennessee

years of flower farming

I've always tried to live by the moto "start as you mean to continue". Meaning from the first garden, to the farm I run now, I've used the same principles for soil health and supporting native species.

Farming this way has taught me nature will eventually balance things out if I'm not interfering.

I started my flower farming journey with 4 little 40 foot rows without ever having started anything from a seed. All the crops I chose were seed crops. I learned how to soil block, how to succession plant, and how to flip my beds for the next crop.

01.

Moonchild Blooms is totally into the environment!

Kasse has taken multiple courses on organic growing and flower conditioning. They use natural mulches, homemade inputs (KNF), and organic fertilizers, like kelp and fish emulsion, to grow healthy plants & make sure the bugs on the farm aren't poisonous.

02.

Farming is food for
their souls

Kasse loves getting to connect with nature and having a meaningful career where she can contribute directly to the health, biodiversity, and sustainability of her farm.

(They're even hosting yoga on the farm this year!)

03.

She's a determined first generation flower farmer

With her 6th generation farmer husband at her side, Kasse is carving space into their cattle farm for her flourishing flower growing passion!

04.

They really, really love their pets.

With three dogs, two reptiles, and bird (and let's not even get into all the critters they're saving with their organic growing methods!) the team behind Moonchild Blooms is definitely pet friendly!
