Heart Hollow Homestead

Mt. Carmel, Tennessee

years of flower farming

In May of 2023, we had a house fire that resulted in a total loss of our home. We had to close for the season but the flowers that were already planted bloomed just for me and lifted my spirits on many occasions. They made a tough day a million times better and THAT is what I want to share with others.

I love how my flowers bring joy to those who receive them. Flowers have a way of instantly changing someone's mood and I love being part of that. When we moved to Tennessee in the summer of 2019, we found a beautiful five acre parcel of land that was the perfect blank slate. Over time we have slowly expanded to 21 acres and have built up our little farm adding fencing for pastures, farm animals, and of course flower fields.

Did someone say Tulips?!

...if we had to guess, it was Norma! She absolutely loves these beautiful flowers and how they're some of the first to bloom in the spring. She's always growing more than she did the year before!

Fields of flowers accompanied by fields of furry friends too!

The 21 acres of Heart Hollow Homestead are filled will lots of lovely flowers and so many precious farm friends too. They currently have plenty of pigs & smiling Babydoll sheep roaming around!

Norma is wonderfully one of a kind!

She was raised in California, attended college in Utah, and has lived in the Southeast ever since. We're glad she's rooted here, because we'd never find someone as lovely to replace her!

They're passionate about great growing practices!

Norma is always continuing to educate herself on how she can be a better steward of the land they live on. She's constantly working on incorporating organic & regenerative growing practices into their farm.
